New Update!

So, lot of you guys talked about the visuals elements of the game and how it can be improved. Well, let's face it, when it's a game jam, you hardly get time for working on the visuals when you're the lone wolf.

Well, after a lot of days , a couple of more games in between , I had the time and enthusiasm to work on Woodifice yet again. My first aim was to work on the Level Design , improving player mechanics and obviously the Graphical elements of the game.

Though, having very less experience with Level Design, after a lot of gameplay testing, I somehow managed to get a good first level, where it is not too hard , and not too easy for the player.

I surely had to refine the player mechanics, because with the previous version, it was very hard to even get more than 2 woods by the end of the level. It's all sorted out now. Cheers!

As it was my first time working with tile sets in Unity, I was completely clueless as to why my Tile Assets were bigger than the Tiles themselves. Though, I somehow published the first version of the game with the larger tiles only, but with the newer update, I fixed that issue. The tile assets are supposed to be of 100x100 Pixels dimensions, if tile size of 1 each is considered.

Lastly, added some not so cool Parallax effect, with clouds and a flaming Volcano at the background.

Hope you'll love the update, if not be sure to let me know what went wrong!
